Nubra Trading View app
Last updated: April 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the Nubra Trading View app Chrome extension ("the extension", "we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the extension.
1. What the extension does
The extension provides AI-assisted chart analysis for supported TradingView and Nubra pages. It can:
- read the currently active chart context from supported pages,
- let you enter prompts and questions in the extension side panel,
- optionally fetch recent market-news sentiment from approved RSS and regulatory sources, and
- send the necessary request data to Anthropic's Claude API so the extension can generate responses.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the extension, the extension may process the following categories of data:
- Authentication information: your Claude API key, which you enter in the extension settings.
- Personal communications: the prompts, questions, and chat messages you type into the extension.
- Website content: chart and page context from supported TradingView and Nubra pages, such as symbol, chart-related state, and information needed to answer your request.
- Sentiment reference data: market sentiment data generated from supported RSS and regulatory feeds, or sentiment JSON files you choose to upload into the extension.
- Technical settings: local preferences such as selected model, analysis mode, and locally stored sentiment metadata.
We do not intentionally collect health information, precise location, financial account or payment card information, browsing history across unrelated websites, or user activity such as keystroke logging outside the extension's own input fields.
3. How we use information
We use the information above only to operate the extension's single purpose: AI-assisted chart analysis with optional sentiment analysis.
Specifically, we use data to:
- analyze the active supported chart page,
- generate AI responses to your prompts,
- fetch and summarize recent market sentiment from configured RSS and regulatory feeds,
- save your settings and preferences locally so the extension works across sessions, and
- maintain extension functionality, reliability, and security.
4. Where information is stored
The extension stores settings locally in your browser using Chrome extension storage. This may include:
- your Claude API key,
- selected model and analysis mode,
- sentiment snapshot metadata and compact sentiment references, and
- other extension settings.
This locally stored data remains on your device/browser profile unless you clear it, remove the extension, or Chrome removes it according to its storage behavior.
5. When information is shared
We do not sell your personal information.
The extension shares data only as needed to provide its functionality:
- Anthropic API: prompts you submit, and the relevant chart/context data needed to answer them, are sent to Anthropic so Claude can generate a response.
- Approved content sources: the extension fetches RSS or XML data from the domains listed in the extension package to generate market sentiment summaries.
We do not share user data with data brokers or other third parties for advertising, profiling unrelated to the extension, or credit or lending decisions.
6. Remote code
The extension does not load or execute remote JavaScript or remote WebAssembly. All executable extension code is packaged with the extension. The extension only makes network requests to retrieve API responses and feed data.
7. Data retention
We do not maintain a separate server-side user database for this extension.
Data retained by the extension is generally limited to what is stored locally in the browser, including settings, locally cached sentiment references, and uploaded sentiment JSON content if you choose to load it into the extension's local storage.
Data sent to Anthropic is subject to Anthropic's own policies and retention practices. You should review Anthropic's privacy documentation if you use the Claude integration.
8. Your choices and controls
You can:
- remove your Claude API key from extension settings,
- clear locally stored sentiment data using the extension's Clear action,
- uninstall the extension to remove its local storage from your browser profile, and
- stop using optional sentiment analysis features at any time.
9. Security
We take reasonable steps to limit data use to the extension's stated purpose and to keep stored data local where possible. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children's privacy
The extension is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and publish the revised version.
